Joe Potter

Joe Potter is the current president of the Finance Department Advisory Board. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master's Degrees from California State University, Long Beach between the late 1970s and early 1980s. Potter worked at Rockwell International before Boeing acquired it in 1996, and he also worked at Boeing before retiring in 2012. He was also the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the United Launch Alliance for Lockheed Martin and Boeing from 2006 to 2012. Potter's motto to future professionals is, "Work hard, be nice." He continues to serve as the Finance Department Advisory Board president and as a mentor for upcoming professionals in the Financial Management Association.
