Abriz Gavilanes is a fourth-year finance major at California State University, Long Beach. With a strong foundation in numbers and a growing interest in financial stability, Abriz discovered her passion for finance while taking classes in trading, risk compliance, and analysis. She is an active associate member in portfolio compliance for the Beach Investment Group. Abriz hopes to pursue a career in FP&A or risk management, where her critical thinking skills and attention to detail can thrive. Abriz is involved in student leadership and also serves as a Corporate Relations Director for the Hispanic Students Business Association (HSBA), where she helps connect students with professional opportunities and networking experiences. Outside of school and FMA, Abriz enjoys spending time at the beach, exploring new coffee shops, and traveling. She also values spending time with her close friends and family.
